| Bio: | Chocoholism. My Internet-induced sleep deprivation. It isn't insomnia: I can sleep, if only I can drag myself away from this blasted hell-machine... Mood swings. I'm a very temperamental artist (whose art doesn't impress). Unattainable dreams - I'm a dreamer, a hopeless romantic. Once, I've even dreamed of running off to live the bohemian life... but I know I'm destined for a nightmare nine-to-five desk job in a fluorescent office that sucks the life right outta you and a white picket fence in deepest, darkest suburbia. Melancholy and angst, lots and lots of angst. Geekiness - lots of XKCD and quotes from my Physics teacher. Neuroticism and my insecurities. Notebook (especially Moleskine) and fountain pen obsession. Computer failures and other technological troubles. My eternal writer's block that only lets up once in a while - very problematic for this writer-wannabe. Pre-concert jitters and post-concert laments - very much a problem as well for this not-quite-virtuoso, very jittery pianist. A bit about me: I'm a young man with an old soul. I'm usually quite reserved and repressed (my LJ friends are probably laughing their heads off at this moment), but not so much online. I have an unhealthy obsession with fountain pens and notebooks, chocolates and jaffa cakes and wine gums. As a child, I wanted to be a film-noir detective. I've since gotten myself a fedora and a trenchcoat, but I've never had the edge required to be a hard-boiled private eye, really. I fancy myself a writer/musician/actor-to-be - but it'll all amount to nothing in the end when I get a nine-to-five desk job in a dreary office... My Johari Window My Nohari Window
